This line graph shows the US number of farms and farm workers in the period 1910-2000.

It shows in this graph that the number of the workers is always higher than the number of farms. But in the last few years the number of farms and workers was closer. In 1910 the workers number was over 12 million and the number of farms was over 6 million. After 35 years the number of farms and workers decreased. In 1950 the number of workers was 10 million and the farms were under 6 million. After 40 years, in 1990, the number became very low at just over 2 million. The workers became 3 million and the farms became close to 2 million and it stayed the same to the year 2000.

In summary, I can see from this graph that the numbers of farms and workers declined in the twentieth century.
